Akua Kuenyehia biography: Akua Kuenyehia is a Ghanaian lawyer born in 1947 in Ghana.

Akua Kuenyehia studied at University of Ghana and Oxford University.

Akua Kuenyehia served as a judge of the International Criminal Court from 2003 to 2005. She also served as First Vice-President of the Court. She represented Ghana on the United Nations’ Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women committee in 2003. She is the president of Mountcrest University College, Ghana. The Law Faculty Building at the University of Ghana, Legon was named after her.
