Margaret Busby biography: Margaret Busby is a Ghanaian publisher, editor, writer and broadcaster, born in 1944 in Ghana.

Margaret Busby studied English at Bedford College, London University.

Margaret Busby is a co-founder of the London-based publishing house Allison and Busby (A$B). She has worked as an Editorial Director of Earthscan before pursuing freelance career as an editor, writer and critic.

Margaret Busby has won several awards including an Honorary Fellowship, Queen Mary, University of London in 2011, an Honorary Membership of PAWA Award, Ghana in 2915 and an Elected Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and awarded the Benson Medal in 2017.

Margaret Busby was married to Lionel Grigson, a British jazz musician.
