Charles Wereko Brobby biography: Charles Wereko Brobby is a Ghanaian engineer, businessman and political figure , born on 27th March, 1953 in Kumasi.

Charles Wereko studied at Achimota School. He proceeded to the University of Leeds where he pursued a BSc in Fuel and Combustion Engineering and a PhD in Solar Energy Engineering.

Charles Wereko once served as the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana’s Volta River Authority. He established Radio Eye, Ghana’s first independent radio station. He was the chief executive of the Ghana@50 secretariat. He is the founder of United Ghana Movement.
