K.B. Asante biography: K.B. Asante was a Ghanaian diplomat, writer and politician born on 26th March, 1924 in Gold Coast, Ghana.

K.B Asante studied at Achimota School then Achimota College. He proceeded to Durham University in Britain where he obtained a BSc Mathematics.

K.B Asante was the Secretary to Ghana’s First President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. He served as the Principal Secretary at African Affairs Secretariat from 1960 to 1966. From 1967 to 1972, he was Ghana’s Ambassador to Switzerland and from 1967 to 1978 served as Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Economic Community.

K.B Asante died on 22nd January, 2018.
