Morgan Tsvangirai Biography: Morgan Tsvangirai was a Zimbabwean politician and a former Prime Minister of Zimbabwe(2009-2013) who was recently the opposition leader to former President Robert Mugabe.

Morgan R. Tsvangirai was born on 10th March 1952 in the Buhera area formerly known as Southern Rhodesia.

Tsvangirai’s full name is Morgan Richard Tsvangirai.

Morgan Tsvangirai was son to father Dzingirai-Chibwe Tsvangirai and mother Lydia Tsvangirai (née Zvaipa).

Morgan Tsvangirai attened St. Marks Goneso Primary School Hwedza before being trnsferred to Chikara Primary School Gutuby his father and later joined for Gokomere High School his secondary education.
Tsvangirai was conferred with an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws by Pai Chai University, becoming the 13th recipient of an honorary degree in the 125-year history of this United Methodist Church institution on May 2010 during a visit to South Korea.

Tsvangirai married his first wife, Susan, in 1978.

Together with Susan, the couple had six children during their 31-year marriage, which ended with her death in the 2009 car crash.
