Reggie Yates biography: Reggie Yates is a British actor, television presenter and radio DJ, whose parents are Ghanaian.

Reggie Yates was born on 31st May, 1983 in Islington, England.

Reggie Yates attended Central Foundation Boys’ School in Islington. He later joined City and Islington Sixth Form College on Goswell Road, Islington.

Reggie Yates is popular for his role as Rastamouse, Leo Jones in Doctor Who and for his work at the BBC as a radio and television presenter for BBC Radio 1 with Fearne Cotton. He also hosted the ITV2 reality show Release the Hounds from 2013 till 2017. Yates’ charity work with UNICEF and The Commonwealth Games made him travel to Jamaica to learn about UNICEF’s sport and education work being carried out there.

Reggie Yates has won several awards including Best Presenter in 2016 Extreme Russia, an Entertainment award at the 2016 Release the Hounds show and a Best Factual Programme Award at the 2016 Extreme Russia. He has been nominated severally too including TV Presenter award at the Extreme Russia Show.
